Why we made it

Six weeks pregnant and you haven't told anyone yet. Or it's 3am with a newborn and you're Googling the same question for the fifth time.

Everyone has an opinion about your pregnancy and your baby. Most of it contradicts the last thing you read, and none of it knows anything about you, your house or how you are actually coping.

Too much advice, all of it certain

Six methods, five opinions from your family, and a feed full of people who seem to have it sorted. All of it confident, none of it agreeing.

None of it knows your baby

What you need at six weeks pregnant is not what you need at six weeks postpartum. Most guides pick one stage and leave you to work out the rest.

Nobody to actually ask

The questions arrive at 3am. The next appointment is in three weeks, and it is ten minutes long.

What you get

Two free guides, and you get the one you need.

Written by Amy and the BROODE team for the two stages parents tell us feel the loneliest. Answer three quick questions and the right one lands in your inbox.

Who is behind it

Real midwives, in your area.

BROODE was built by Amy Corrigan after her own first pregnancy, when she realised how much was going on nearby that nobody had told her about. The Welcome to Parenthood programme runs across South Dublin and North Wicklow, because that is where our midwives are, and the groups are matched by area and due date so the people you meet are genuinely local.
